1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Think Cue mobile application ("App", "Service"), operated by Paweł Rosner ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of the service
Think Cue is a personal productivity and wellbeing application that:
- Integrates with your device calendar to display your schedule
- Attaches evidence-based behavioural tips to calendar events (breathing exercises, cognitive bias awareness, emotion-regulation techniques)
- Provides configurable pre-event and post-event notifications
- Offers a structured journaling feature based on the ABC cognitive-behavioural model
- Tracks mood patterns and generates personal insights
- Provides a curated library of learning content based on peer-reviewed research
- Classifies events and personalises technique recommendations using deterministic, on-device rules
3. Important disclaimers
3.1 Not medical advice
The App does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any mental health condition or disease. The techniques and content are intended for general wellbeing and self-awareness purposes only. The ABC journaling feature helps users build self-awareness about thought patterns — it does not constitute cognitive behavioural therapy or any form of psychotherapy.
3.2 Automated suggestions
Event classification and technique suggestions are produced by deterministic, rule-based logic running on your device. These suggestions may be inaccurate or inappropriate for your specific situation. Always use your own judgment and do not rely solely on automated suggestions.
3.3 Research basis
Techniques in the App are based on peer-reviewed research. We cite original research for transparency but do not claim that using the App will produce the same results as the cited studies.
3.4 iOS Calendar sync
The App can optionally sync with your iOS Calendar (via Apple EventKit). This is off by default and requires your explicit permission. Revoking calendar access in iOS Settings stops future syncs but does not automatically delete previously imported events from your account.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the App. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are between 16 and 18, you confirm you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
5. Account and authentication
You create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID. You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete account. All personal data is permanently deleted upon account deletion.
We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you are violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent activity.
6. Acceptable use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
- Attempt to access other users' data or circumvent security measures
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the App beyond normal usage
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the App
- Interfere with the normal operation of the App or its infrastructure
7. Intellectual property
The App, including its design, code, techniques, articles, and learning content, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.
You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (journal entries, mood ratings, event data). You grant us a limited license to process this content solely for providing the Service, which terminates when you delete your account.
8. Privacy and data protection
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details. Key points:
- Your data is stored in the EU (Google Cloud europe-west1)
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers
- ABC journal entries are stored on-device only — never uploaded
- You can export or permanently delete all data at any time
- We comply with GDPR
9. Subscription and payment
The App is currently free. All future payments, if any, will be processed through the Apple App Store. Apple's terms apply to all purchases. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

11. Availability and modifications
We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, update, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice for material changes. We may update these Terms from time to time — continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will meet your specific requirements, be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any techniques will produce specific health outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or EUR 100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
